Windows will appear to load normally then either the monitor will show progress or the screen will go blank, do not disturb this. This will take an hour or so before it gets to the desktop. The process ends in task manager. No idea what's going on here.

The issue has evolved yet again to display this error message after the connecting Steam account box comes up: "the exception unknown software exception 0x occurred in the application at location 0x3f01edee" I have made no changes to my computer recently.
Also I don't know why these errors are changing when all I have done is uninstall and reinstall. After messing with this for over 3 hours I'm at a total loss as to what I should do.
