Haven't had any problems of conflicts between the two, so can't help you there. Since they are so widely used by TSG members, I'm sure someone knowledgeable will be along soon to help out.

Joined Apr 2, Messages 5, Unfortunately, I'm not the knowledgeable person mach9 was hoping would turn up, but, just wanted to observe how surprised I am that you had clashes between Spybot and Adaware. I've had versions of both playing happily on my old Win 98 box since they first became available and, apart from one identifying the others quarantine files as 'baddies', have had no problems.
I did try running the TeaTimer but it slowed things down to halt, probably because I have other things monitoring my Registry as well. If you don't already have it, perhaps you should get HijackThis and post a log so that someone who knows what's what can tell if you've got something nasty in your woodshed?

Normally, once you say no to something, it doesn't get past it - but again, it's not foolproof. On my system, it takes up anywhere from ish MB of RAM - some of you may scoff, and some may not even notice, but just take heed, for a standalone systems protector note, not Anti-Spyware or Anti-Virus it's fairly heavy - and for some users, may cause a noticeable performance lag.
